hospital procedure caused a PTSD episode so bad I got pushed past fight or flight and ended up in and out of catatonia like 10+ times (I lost count) while there good news is I've only had one after being let out on the 13th and that was day of so hopefully it has stopped now that I'm home.

I asked about this every single day at the hospital from the moment it started happening until I was let out about this. I was crying asking what was wrong with me. No one told me. Told my normal psychiatrist today about it and after describing it she just immediately told me it was catatonia.

tunnel vision? freeze response? i don't know what it's called when this happens. Fixating on one spot, paralyzed, and completely numb. I am trapped. I can do is think, hear, feel, and hope no one touches me so I don't snap out of it screaming at them.
