Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

FUN FACT! this cabbit is a lazy fuck who needs to fix her networking because she lacks usb drives to transfer video files from her stream pc over to her main pc for video editing. this has been an issue for literal months now and 3 minute clips slowing filler up her 2TB of storage on the stream pc.

exa, years ago I asked a few people to help me learn avatar creation, 1 was an immediate no, the other 2 said sure thing, 1 of them removed me a week later, and the last one rarely responded to me and never had time when asked, but had the time to teach someone else that they met through me.
