veggie lentil soup in the crockpot! i'm big into Lentils lately. easy as pie (or, er, soup) recipe attached.

A recipe for vegetable lentil soup. The ingredients are: 4 cups lentils, rinsed and picked through,
32 oz beef broth (or veggie broth to make vegetarian),
2 cups water,
1 medium yellow onion, diced,
2 cups carrots, sliced,
1/2 cup celery, sliced,
28 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained,
1 large russet potato, diced,
4-6 cloves garlic, minced,
2-3 bay leaves (optional),
1/2 tsp salt,
1/2 tsp black pepper.

The instructions are: Place all ingredients in a 5-6 quart crockpot. Cook on LOW for 7-8 hours or until vegetables are tender.

i have not played WoW in many years and probably never will again but i have never seen such a deranged company-fanbase relationship. like Blizz consistently shoots itself in the foot and its consumers immediately pay a monthly fee to lick up all the blood on the floor while complaining about it

and like what a concept "official WoW Classic" is, let alone Classic+. how did they even sell that to shareholders? "let's publicly admit we've run this game and franchise into the ground and then charge people for it" i am almost shocked at the gall except it worked...more than once

Why do y'all hate your art so much. Apologizing for "messy sketches" that are full blown paintings. Refusing to reblog your work. Holding back WIPs because they're not pretty perfect portfolio pieces. Never a nice thing to say about your art. You might say you hate AI, but do you love your art???

This is what I mean when I say that its depressing doing art, writing fics, gposing, ect and getting crickets in response. "Do it because you like it" only goes so far when fandom is supposed to be nerds and creatives supporting each other.

What happens a lot on social media is when someone (Warren Ellis, Neil Gaiman now Ed Brubaker) has allegations thrown at them people tend to leap out the woodwork saying "their work was never good." That helps no one as it's irrelevant. What matters is their actions and what they did.

i unironically Love the two Sonic movies i've seen (1 and 2). they are clearly for Kids but they are Fun and best of all, not irony-poisoned. pristine casting too. i grew up on both the Cringe and Gritty attempts at Sonic and i did not want either so i was happy just personally

The more you act like starting 1,000 art WIPs is a bad thing the harder it will be to get started. Imagine a little gremlin on your shoulder being like, "Oh, another new piece? Can't you finish anything?" Sounds motivating, right? :| RIGHT?? The whippings will continue until morale improves!

daily reminder ✨

DO NOT ask yourself whether your art is GOOD. instead ask: is it SINCERE, is it CATHARTIC, was it FUN TO MAKE, is it MADE BY ME, and don’t forget to stay silly
