The length of time the nor'easter hangs around the southern New England coast is incredibly unkind to the beaches and the overall coastline. The erosion will be destructive to say the least. Lots of replenishment will be necessary.

I'm still not thrilled with the week-to-week gimmicks of Star Trek Strange New Worlds but if I'm grading on a scale, I actually enjoyed the "soap opera" episode far more than the puppet episode. That said, I'm ready for plot advancement. There's only like 9 more episodes left of the entire series.

Some early reports said that the horrifying flooding in Nepal was the result of an earthquake. However, the signal was actually the recording of the landslide. TL:DR - there was no earthquake, it was a landslide. earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/...
