Iris/アイリス 🏳️‍⚧️ @irisdescentbird.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

noticing that a lot of the pokemon i'm starting to like less and less lately are all at least fairy type in some form or another checks out really

realizing the reason genesect felt so underwhelming to me was because i forgot about its mixed coverage and just tried to go all physical (?????)

atlas especially not having any issue with the term "mega man king", we love her for it

Iris/アイリス 🏳️‍⚧️ @irisdescentbird.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

mega man 3 was factually unfinished too for example

you would then have japanese version purists going like "noooo that's an octopus eraser!!!"

i didn't even use arena trap on the mega, using ability slot 2 for white smoke in base form gives it sand force in mega form

because it usually comes from people who played the games when they didn't have social media, now being able to express their opinion

Iris/アイリス 🏳️‍⚧️ @irisdescentbird.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

i wonder when people will realize that the so called "pokemon cycle" is literally one of the easiest things to apply the goomba fallacy image to. people say that shit about stuff that isn't true but "group A was shitting on this pokemon game and group B is praising it years later" doesn't apply?

fun pokemon trivia: iron treads is the only pokemon in scarlet and violet to not learn endure by TM, that isn't one of the early game bug/fish/gimmick pokemon with intentionally limited moves, for some reason
