There’s a small clap of thunder and the two Gabes come tumbling out of a gate, landing on the bed in a fit of giggles. The laughter tapers off and the pair catch their breath before pulling each other close and making out.

“Ah~ welcome back!” Casey looks over at the Gabes as they fondle one another and continue smooching. “You weren’t seen, were you? It would suck to blow our whole plan by getting spotted…”

“Mmmph~ no it’s all good.” Gabe pulls himself away from his double to reassure her. “I picked a spot way out to sea. There was pretty much nothing but ocean and clouds.”

“Did you have fun? Ah!”

Gaybe beams, flushed with excitement and afterglow. “It was incredible! You do this all the time?”

“Heheh, only with other senders. Gotta have someone else to portal everyone to safety if something goes wrong. Remember that, okay?” Gabe says giving his doppelgänger a kiss.

The fae nods and gives the mouse a bashful look before asking, “Can we do it again?”

Gabe casts a sideways glance towards Casey and Kasey and sighs. “Probably not a good idea to push our luck. But if you have another one in you, I definitely wanna keep going: this time with me on top?”

Gaybe’s face lights up with a big, horny grin and he nods in agreement. The identical twinks go back to kissing and greedily clawing at one another as they get ready for another round.

We shouldn't have to hide who we are and who we love just to make ignorant bigots more comfortable. The closet can feel safe in an environment where being openly LGBTQ+ can be dangerous. But it's suffocating. Damaging. We should be as free to be ourselves as any cis straight person. Let us be.

i used to hesitate addressing mat's trans-ness because i was worried about the backlash of having a trans male protagonist in a gay/BL story. but then i realized i don't ever want to cultivate an audience that hates trans people, hates me, and would hate my work. trans rights forever.
