Adar 🖤 This character has so much depth and mystery, and I couldn’t resist trying to capture it on paper! Sam Hazeldine’s portrayal of Adar was utterly mesmerizing! I was completely drawn to every detail. ☺️ It was an absolute pleasure working on this drawing.🖤 #adar #SamHazeldine #ringsofpower

#Adar #Adariel #TheRingsOfPower „What I love about the elves is that there are these amazing love stories in Tolkien’s work, but also so many stories that are full of love but not romantic. They’re full of deep connection and relevance, and maybe it would’ve been one of those.“ ✨ (Morfydd Clark)

Black and white pastel drawing of Galadriel and Adar, standing side by side. They present a strong dark/light contrast, Galadriel clad all in white, while Adar is shrouded in black. Both look pensive.

The quote (in slightly shortened form) is taken from an interview of Morfydd Clark by Rotem Rusak for Nerdist.

I've drawn #Adar 36 times this year and will continue to, but this is the most important piece to me. 💜 #TheRingsOfPower | #TROP | #art | #macchiavato

The Rings of Power fanart: A black and white portrait of Adar, chest up. He is holding his sword as well as a couple pof sage flowers in his left armored hand. His eyes are closed and he looks calm.

What if Maeglin did not die in Gondolin, but became one of Morgoth's commanders next to Adar? (Redesign from last year #AU #Maeglin)

Scars are not always visible. Some are etched into the soul, hidden beneath layers of silence and strength. Adar’s scars, though carved into his face, are so much more than what meets the eye. #digitalpaiting #Adar #Tolkien #JosephMawle #theringsofpower

#TheRingsOfPower #Adar Today I started on the cuirass, using a wood-burning pen and this heat-sensitive material called Worbla. It works great for carving the pattern so far. If all goes well, this might become an Adar cosplay eventually Thanks @niku30.bsky.social, your template was very helpful 🖤

Collage of six pictures, showing my process of making Adar‘s cuirass so far.

There‘s one picture showing the result as of today: The black top layer of the front side of the cuirass with the distinctive river pattern carved into it.
Another picture shows Adar wearing his armor. This is the picture I used as a template. The others are of me carving with the wood-burning pen and details of the pattern.
