Yesterday, at the Smokehouse in Ipswich, my son met Ed Sheeran and "some woman from the council", erm... that'll be Lisa Nandy. Ed and Lisa watched the kids from Newgen play a song they had just written. Amazing to see such support for a brilliant local youth project!

A little while ago I mentioned in a group of people that, when reading a book, if I didn't like the characters' name, I would substitute it for something else. I then just automatically sub it in every time I read it. Everyone acted like this is completely strange. Anyone else do this? #books
