I never understood the complexities people put on “I’m not interested.” It’s a complete sentence. No explanation, negotiation, or deeper meaning required. And it’s one of the easiest phrases to say….just say it!

I mentioned to my Lyft driver that I attend Phillips Theological Seminary. She told me she always wanted to go to Bible college and starts to play some CCM song, LOUD. It’s 5am and I’m late. I didn’t have the energy to explain those things are OR address her bodily smells. Happy Saturday?! 😩😭
