When I tell people I've been a #webdev since the 90s they look at me funny. I operated a mail order business from a site I coded in my teenage bedroom on a PowerMac. When I got to college at RPI fall 2000, I made this for a freshman year project. Found it on a CD! steveblue.github.io/manorys/

Side scrolling website that was a marketing ad for Manory's, a diner in downtown Troy, NY. The user can hover over patrons and get a story, information about the restaurant.

Sometimes the y’all slips out because I grew up just south of the Mason Dixon and spent summers in WV, but because of time spent there it can also slip out sound like “you’uns”. Anyone that says I’m performing can take a hike to B’more too. Dialect is fickle, deal with it.

I was a baby when the Orioles won their last World Series. A pennant hung over my bed. I've lived a life of hope, suffered through disappointment. In 2022, I was hit by a car. Watched every game I could of Adley's rookie year. Learned to walk again with this hoodie on. This feels like grief.

In December, the Democratic mayor Mitch Landrieu signed an ordinance ordering the removal of four statues memorializing the Confederacy after recent mass shootings by White Supremacists.

Two women walk past a vintage, hand-painted exterior advertisement for a concert that was uncovered years ago on the historic Towne Storage building on the east side of the Burnside Bridge. The faded sign was hidden under an advertising billboard for many years before it was uncovered.
