Frank Gehry designed IPAM’s home, the Portola Plaza Building, between 1973-1975. His last visit was in January of 2022, when he toured with IPAM directors Dima Shlyakhtenko and Christian Ratsch, who described him as “curious, supportive, and passionate.” #puremathematics #appliedmathematics
