never mind it was my fucking computer, i tried a usb wifi adapter and things are better now, ended up playing a game with 15 maps going up to 8x damage multiplier

yea i guess that makes sense. i think i just had a match where i was 1M up to the 3x damage part and i was afraid one mistake could cost me the entire match despite having lost nothing so far, but it didn't happen so this is probably a non-problem

tbh the one kinda making me hesitate to play any more so far is the disconnection issue. my wifi is not very good, and blips like this are pretty common. if this means i will be throwing like half my matches i don't think this will be a viable form of gameplay

...stats like in otr.stagec.net would be very cool. - damage multiplier gets a bit too punishing at the end. i would rather it be higher and higher base damage + the difference in score, or else a 250k difference at like 3x multiplier can almost kills a very healthy player

- the card interface is cool but the buttons (incl play button, the right click menu) keep jiggling around while i move my mouse making it almost impossible to click anything. paired with the short timers, this part is incredibly stressful - would be nice to scope out ur opponent's play history...

- the chat unfocuses every time i send a message so i have to reclick before sending 2 messages in a row - i know this is obviously very challenging to do but the map selections don't feel as good as a well curated map pool. i don't know if anything can be done about this

- all the timers are too short. i'd much rather a longer timer + skip button - need ability to see usertags in the cards, ideally a map preview - results screen does not display map info - a history / log of events might be nice

ok maybe this makes its way into a github issue eventually but heere's my feedback for ranked play so far after like 5 matches: - no feedback button in game - i managed to get disconnected mid match? cus of a wifi blip. i wasn't able to reconnect and just threw the entire match

I thought that happens only if u hold fn for like 7 seconds and then it lights up. I personally used the Caps lock button as my Fn key, there's an option to turn that on

idk i got a ducky one mini to try out once and honestly every time i switch back i still remember the keybinds. it makes you very comfortable with a keyboard but it's impossible to play old flash/ported arcade games that don't let u rebind arrow keys :(
