When I go to a sold out event, I often leave my nosebleed seat and migrate down to the floor area that is also sold out and so does everyone else in the cheap seats and the floor stays the same amount of crowded and there’s room for everyone

She has some good ones. When her car had to be towed, she told me they put it on the gurney and took it to town. Makes sense in a way - she worked in healthcare for 60 years and sick people are put on gurneys. Why not sick cars.

I sent my kid off to college in August with no rain gear. He’s not far away (from home in Arlington), I’d sort of forgotten about rain, and he is not yet a full adult who would order or go buy a raincoat and umbrella. He had a very soggy day. Wet everything.

Since so many of y’all are asking… Paxton was hit in the right eye with a berry when he was 12 & eventually lost sight in that eye. In college, he took an elbow to the same eye while playing basketball. Broke bones around the eye.

His face has been that way for decades. He had a serious injury (hit in the eye with a berry!) when he was 12 and a facial injury in college with broken bones around the previously injured eye. I’d link to a Houston Chron article about it but you’d just hit a paywall
