…how old was I when Earth got annihilated? I wasn’t too old… maybe somewhere around two hundred? I wasn’t in a gardening phase back then… Now I’m trying to actually grow my own Earth plants. The berries, vegetables, all of that… ( As he’s idly talking, he’s preparing the mix, getting out little—-

…alright, alright. ( He sighs, and then chuckles. Gently bringing a hand up to pat between their horns ) If you’re dying, there are snacks in the cabinet. I restocked them yesterday… I still have some muffin mix around here somewhere. But they will take a little to bake. ( He steps away, —-

I’m sure if you trained with me, you could. All living beings have some amount of ki in them… and it just takes work for more. ( He shrugs ) But those big blasts aren’t for me. ( Setting the pans down on the counter, he turns and looks at them ) Besides… whats it matter how strong you are if—-

100

Yeah. Where you come from… ( Rolling his eyes and grabbing two 12 muffin trays ) Here our most advanced teleportation techniques barely stretch across planets… nonetheless the cosmos?

000

I don’t think so… that’s just how it works. ( He shakes his head ) And if there are limits, they certainly don’t limit you… ( He opens a cabinet and inside are like dozens of baking trays all neatly stacked… ) They can, if you want. Though I could make multiple flavors…

000

I don’t think you’ve done anything… ‘normal’ You tear open portals across space and time to teleport across the multiverse… if I had those powers I’d be the best assassin in this multiverse. ( Opening up his pantry which is basically a separate room ) Hm… pastry trays…

000

… ( Blink blink ) I’m not even going to ask… ( Walking off to go get a muffin tray ) Do you want to… help at all?

000

…do I need to bake muffins for you, dear?

000

…yeah. And that time will come, I’m sure… But if someone is to take you prematurely, there’s no reason to rush your fate or whatever…

I hope so darlin’ ( Takes a loooooooong sip of whiskey. ) Though I’d always use the dragonballs to revive you anyway… not like anyone could stop me. Heh.

000

I’ve had a lot of time to think. And read. Heh. And I’ve grown to worry about you more. I can’t follow you around with all these portals and stuff that you’re able to do… But all this time, I’ve just hoped you’ve kept safe.

Love… Wherever you go, whatever you do… Just stay safe. Whenever you tire, my home is always yours.

- @low-classlegend.bsky.social - It was a normal, quiet day on Earth. No threats, no evil, just pure relaxation for the Saiyan. When Goku found the time to go out in a field and train, all was perfect. Except that, after a bit of training, the world seemed to grow quiet around him. ---
