Some music I composed for @aggrocrabgames.bsky.social' cancelled game: Going Under 2 This one was going to be stage music for a cotton candy fashion factory!

thanks to the allpass filter it is now possible to make fucked up looking EQs at levels previously deemed impossible

yeah, seems like "spectral" mode is filters not spectral. this is equivalent to those fl studio patcher EQ presets that just use a ton of peak controllers to move a bunch of tightly arranges bells. there's also no windowing so you get cool borders like this picture from @kaifuaudio.bsky.social

on a quick glance from @soulusions.moe it seems like the spectral comp might actually be applied through a filter bank, which is why they say it needs to be "linear phase" this seems like an extremely stupid way to do this more at 11

something you should know about pq3 spectral comp is that it makes huge latency. the lowest resolution is 64 samples which is still high and sounds worse than soothe for instance.

I've been converter-pilled by this little guy. For just 15 bucks it sounds strangely better than the stock dongles made by google/apple etc. Even on my cheap 45 dollar IEMs it makes a difference. If ur ever in akihabara, stop by E-Earphones for this at least. Its cheap enough to be a no-brainer
