If I had a nickel for every time Apple released a security update to an older out-of-support version of iOS ~3 years after the previous update, I would have two nickels. It's not a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?

A screenshot of iOS 9's version history, focusing on the time difference between the last two updates. August 25th, 2016 (9.3.5) to July 22nd, 2019 (9.3.6), which is almost 3 years apart from each other.

A screenshot of iOS 12's version history, also focusing on the time difference between the last two updates. January 23rd, 2023 (12.5.7) and January 26th, 2026 (12.5.8), which is exactly 3 years and 3 days apart from each other, similar to what happened with iOS 9 in 2019.

Couldn't resist the opportunity, so I took the time to make this. #TeleBlue #WBRB

a little something I made to commemorate dev logs 4. #wbrb #wellberightback

Some text that reads: "[watch your back.]"
A TV sits below the text, with VAL's face front and center on the screen.

Wow. Micro$oft literally employing EA Spore DRM levels of tactics with this one! Is this a part of those "Every Windows 11 PC is an AI PC" campaigns you've been pushing as of late?

A screenshot of OneDrive's features tab in its settings, titled "People section". Right under the option, it reads "You can only turn off this setting 3 times a year." Below that, it reads "OneDrive uses AI to recognize faces in your photos to help you find photos of friends and family."
