As the ACCC supermarket inquiry revealed that our supermarkets have some of the highest profits in the world, supermarket stock prices have rallied today, by 4-6%. Investors know the ACCC can’t hurt Coles & Woolies. It’s time for more powers to control price gouging & a prices commission.

Shocking to see extensive mortality amongst the remnant populations of Silver Banksia at my old study sites. It's been an exceptionally dry summer but I've never seen it this bad before. #drought #climatechange
