@katbamkapow.bsky.social I forgot to post this over the weekends but coming back from the beach I encountered this #BIGwater at a pizza shop. The water was huge.

I like to do my imports in decreasing string length. I just happened on day and I was like fuck it, I'll enforce that from now on.

A screen shot from a programing IDE that shows a list of import statements where the name of the library being imported gets shorter as the list goes on.

I got my hands on this dvd from a little free library and it's not on the Internet Archive so I will uploading it later today.

I spent a delightful afternoon with A Garden of Spheres yesterday. It is a beautiful book and the color pages are stunning. The story odd, sparse, and scattered. I ate it up. Lots of cool dragons too. Look I'm easy.

Finished modding my vita with shop.giltesa.com's usb-c port swap for data and charging. I also swapped in a psvsd from DevDavisNunez's tindie store. I'm so happy with how the usb-c port swap went.

the bottom of a PS Vita where the charging port has been swapped for a usb-c port. the port fits in a 3d-printed piece that takes up the extra space perfectly.

Here's the big question blast for the week: Describe your wizard/mage garb. Also the right answer was nano. — What if Snufkin was 20% more 80's paperback mage art. I think it the green would be a little darker than his. I might go for a splash of bl neospring.org/+r/160057987...

People are sharing listening stats. GGP/VOIP/Block Busters top the list. Around the Long Fire has become one of my favorite pods this year. Happy to see SBG and Reprise Show on here.

Spring 2023 Huey Wa. This had more of the raw pru-erh flavor then the Jingmai Yellow flake but felt a little hollow in the middle notes. It had a playful lingering note that I enjoyed. Held up well across all three flushes I made. In the running for new morning cup.

pressed tea leaves loosened from their cake.

Brewed tea leaves showing large brow green leafs.

The next tea is the 2024 Jingmai Yellow Flakes. I found it to be very smooth and very mild. A very warm calm tea. I like a little more to be happening in my cup. But that said I brewed it at my kettle temp of 175 so maybe it will open up a bit more with boiling water.

Pressed tea leaves broken apart. They are dark green and brown.

A small white tea pouch with a metallic blue label reading www.farmer-leaf.com. Under the label is written 2024 Jingmai Yellow Flakes.

A pile of brewed leaves, mostly whole leaves.

I ordered a few teas from farmer-leaf.com, tried the first one last night, it was the Autumn 2024 Jingmai Gushu. I found mild with a touch of astringency. There was lovely little sweet complex floral note to it that really enjoyed.

The brewed leaf, large green leaves with a few tender stems.

A Gong Dao Bei with a light yellow tea in it.

Dried loose leaf tea, the tea is all long and scraggly.

A white tea bag with a hand written label saying "Autumn 2024 Jingmai Gushu"
