"At the beginning it does. We have full control...but slowly the hosts will returns. And eventually, we can be forced out..." He...seemed a bit uneasy about that...at least understandably so "This one...just never fought back after I took him.."

"Stranger..." The creatures red eyes seemed to glow with interest from the darkness before it started to move towards its Its wings were jittering about faintly, as if it was ready to take flight at any moment

The bug's tail snaked around its body, taking a much more comfortable position after her response "We felt the rumbling of something in the word above...but I don't believe it came to effect us much..."

And...unfortunately she can feel a presence watching her...and the feeling doesnt go away... The darkness provides ample cover for whatever IT is...but she knows it's there...

"I've had a few before this one...but this was one was different. He gave no effort to resist my control..." Her experience was in fact quite...unique...but he wouldn't know about that...

But, his bladed tail whipped about behind him. Making it clear enough he'd defend himself if provoked "If you seek to harm us. I ensure you'd be best to leave. And we wont retaliate.."

She could see their glowing eyes glaring back at her from the darkness...evidently they were more scared of her than she was of them Or at least. Most of them were. One of them was brave enough to approach her "Stranger. You seek to disturb us?" He didnt appear to be a threat either

Leader of Tribe Scorned @intruderofshell.bsky.social · 10/10/2025

An attack seems unlikely...they would've ambushed her long before she had made it here if they wanted to... Upon reaching tbe village she'd find a few younger looking bugs wandering about their days...who quickly scattered into the safety of their hollowed trunks and burrows

"Not a rude question at all..." The moth just drummed its fingers against its arm, letting out curious clicks as it tried to recollect the memories "I took this one soon after I reached adulthood...and I've yet to need to replace him...so....a good few years at the least.."

@silksentinel.bsky.social After her experience with a certain...other parasite...it would only be fair for her to be wary of exploring their territory But with it lying so close to the pilgrims' path to the citadel? She had to ensure they weren't in any danger She could feel herself being

For direct details about him Chaos uses He/It pronouns. With no direct preference to either. He's got little interest in romance but IS bisexual. Shipping will be rare and require heavy build up.

The Vortex still acts as their true leader. Speaking to the moths as needed to guide them. The barrier between the true world and the Vortex is quite thin. And is able to be broken by the Carrio. But to do so is considered a sin of the highest order due to its unpredictable nature.

The Vortex. From which all came. The Vortex struggles to be explained. Its a place. But also an entity all of its own. Through its will it created the first generation of Carrio. Implanting on them their nature and intelligence. And then releasing them onto the kingdom of Pharloom.

The bugs of the citadel were...not accommodating of their parasitic nature And deemed them inherent enemies of the kingdom The Carrio Moths were hunted and attempted to be wiped out completely...many of their elder figures were captured and killed or imprisoned Leaving only the younger
