All the cringe, devils advocate, Free speech snowflakes over the years that got bent out of shape about “free speech being in danger” because people didn’t like when they said slurs and made rape jokes are awfully quiet now.

Every Æther I’ve created takes inspiration from something near and dear to me, Often works from anime, to film & comic books. With this particular Æther the works of Akira Toriyama and Todd Macfarlane played a prominent role in its visual homage.

The glorification of the unshakable starving Artist that never gives up even when all else fails is ultimately dehumanizing. The romanticism of struggle in that for an Artist to become worthy of success they must first go through a crucible of misery has always been dangerous.

I’m honestly very concerned for the future of independent artists for a great myriad of reasons but I hope they all keep trying and staying true to themselves

Be open to criticism but don't let others dictate what your Art should become. Embrace everything that's inside of you to create Art that reflects the deepest parts of your soul. "You must serve no master but your own ambition"

Technically but I always think it’s important to emphasize the distinction of the medium. For the same reason it’s best not to lump every visual medium of art into only visual artist, while I am I want people to understand the particulars of the medium I use just like painters

I’m a photographer when I’m a photographer but most of the time I’m a photographic Artist, meaning the work I create is derived solely from photographs but feature enough transformative alterations from the original that it can no longer be described as “just a photograph.”

It's my will with all my might To stay strong, put up a fight I'm so lost but not afraid I've been broken, I'll rise again Don't give up, I've come this far Know what's right in my heart I'll get back to my home And for now I'm on my own I am on my own
