Lore building is wonderful. There's little aspects of the world in my novel (post-resource war USA) that I don't know if I'll get to reference in the actual story, but it's so soothing to lose myself in it here & there.

I'm writing my first novel & trying to be wary of this sort of thing. When I'm visualising the scene in my head and thinking of the emotions of the character, sometimes I think a description of a smile adds important tone, but there are also times where a smile just needs to be a smile!!

We got SO Fallout crummed today!!!! A cinema that could be showing a movie with a ghoul/smoothie romance, Daddy 'Gool' appearing on set looking so GOOD and a poster advertising an apparent post war movie starring The Gool 👀

I have 4 pages of my novel plot written in the Notes app (there's a word limit), I'm almost half way through the first page of the storyline which has translated to 9 chapters of written work. I have quite a bit of work ahead still 😅

When you're reading a novel, do you prefer past or present tense? I know the majority is written in past tense and that's my go-to when writing, but I started writing my novel in present tense 3rd person and now I'm not so sure 🤔

If the enemy part is over too soon then where's the fun in that? I like it when they push & pull, when they hate each other more each time but it's actually because they're so attracted to one another, they're just too stubborn to admit it. So when they finally become lovers it's actual magic.

The problem with writing group sex scenes is that I never know who to have do what to who. Anyway, I am still working on this chapter of New Vegas, New Love. I'm hoping to have this chapter & the fic re-write done before I dive deeper with writing my novel.
