The Internet Explorer 9 ads went way harder than they needed to. They made a browser everyone hated actually look appealing. A commercial like this today could probably convince me to at least try any browser.

When it comes to technology, I'd like to go back to the early 2010s for a while.

Heading into my archive of old screenshots... Vine on August 8, 2016. 2 months later, in October 2016, Vine announced that it would shut down on January 17, 2017. Divine claims to bring it back, but it'll never be the same as the original.

Here's an interesting old site: Windows Beta. It's cool that this page uses the Windows XP logo, more than a year before Windows XP's general availability date.

It looks like the Google Balls date back a while... all the way back to 2009, actually.

I should say that I don't use Escargot anymore. I now use CrossTalk, which has WLM and AIM clients at crosstalk.im. I will not share how to add me there until the alias system is rolled out; however, you should be able to find me in the member directory for now.

A page on YouTube in 2009 had an... interesting image. What does it mean?
https://www.youtube.com/oops on June 26, 2009. I would try to explain this page, but I literally can't.

character󠀮.ai in 2022 vs. 2025. The 2025 layout is an improvement in some ways, but I miss the feed in the older layout. It was always a great way to find new characters to talk to.

I wouldn't be on this site if it was still Twitter. At least I have a better profile picture now.
