Yeah someone sent me an email about this too. I reported it, although the report thing from google didn't even have a text field where I could explain what the problem was, so I just reported it for impersonation. My hopes that anything will come of it are somewhat limited, tbh. The developer has a bunch of different apps that are all literally exactly the same from the screenshots, mostly using the names of what I assume are popular manga/manhwa websites (I googled some of the other app names and found them)

My biggest *technical* objection to LLMs, that is far less important than my *ethical* objections, is that they are not "everything machines" that can replace specialized algorithms and models.

Machine learning is an incredibly rich field with an immense amount of different ways to solve specific tasks, and it's a travesty to see that all flattened to feeding different prompts to an LLM and applying thoughts and prayers.

#reddit has started pushing users to user their app on mobile web pages and locking scrolling, it's pretty obnoxious old reddit still exists, but once that is gone i'm locking the subreddit

just encountered a userwall on webtoon in the form of a pending rating warning (with the page scroll-locked). clicking yes on this requires a login not naming the comic but suffice it to say **it has zero aspects in it that would need a content warning** alt text for ublock filter #webcomics

so it's been hell of a while!! 😓 finally got to making a subroutine for Ava's Demon, and the bot should pick and post the feed properly now! [alt text for more info] will be monitoring to see if i broke the rest of the bot, but hopefully not 🤞 might go adapt 3rd voice as well later, i'll see

it's from the reminders app on iOS (haven't deleted these old unused junk from the app, lol). there used to be an IFTTT recipe on my phone that monitors item completions from this list (specifically the earliest page in the batch), and parses it into a title and link pair to be sent to reddit

the webcomic is structured in a way where each panel is a page, and all the new panel-pages are posted to the feed, effectively being multiple single-use candy wrappers of each update

the reduction of the free tier of IFTTT spurred the first iteration of the RSSbot, and i wasn't motivated enough to figure out a workflow that would make an exception for this and run a separate python script to parse their feed
