INTERDREAM is fairly standalone, but we want to remain true to the characters, so DELTARUNE's progressing story will still affect how we develop the game. This is why we won't have a proper "release version" of the game until after DELTARUNE is complete.

The game will have accessibility options / features wherever they are applicable and necessary. We will continue to have the Easy Mode option available for those who need the difficulty decreased.

DELTARUNE will affect the game's development, because we do not plan on having any proper "Chapter Releases" until DELTARUNE is complete. We might have a "Chapter 1 Demo" before DELTARUNE's completion, but with a disclaimer that the game is subject to change due to it being a pre-release version.

I'll go ahead and drop the current draft for the answer of this question.

Question: What happens if you become unhappy with the games direction again?

Answer: Then the game will be cancelled, and we release most of the development planning resources, alongside the source code.

I think we won't become unhappy with the game's direction. What would happen is that we would just lose passion for the project as a whole.

We remade the climbing mechanics from DELTARUNE Chapter 4 & 5! We have plans to use this mechanic in the game, and want to try using it in new ways that aren't in DELTARUNE. You may even notice one of them here...
