She sighed. Since when has this trip become an unpaid babysitting gig? "...if you insist."

"Sparring matches are a thing, kid." Reminding Chloe that she can still show off her skills by sparring with another person. Although... her attention is currently occupied by the items the orb dropped. What even are they?

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 6h

Welp, she can say goodbye to her freedom now. And right on time, before she could even say anything she's already getting dragged around by none other than her wife.

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 6h

Hauyne pouted. Crescent just let out a snort.

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 7h

"Next time then." Hyperspace isn't going anywhere, so there's always a chance. Without really thinking about it, she smashed the golden orb.

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 7h

🐲: "You broke a fae's promise, Vigil?" They have no sympathy for breaking promises... after all, they're considered as part of the fae.

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 7h

It was a mistake bringing a veteran Trainer up here, don't you think? She'd have demolished through the whole lot before you could even blink. "Like it's supposed to be hard?"

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 7h

The girl in question faced away in shame. 🐲: "It's just an episode... I told you already."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 8h

They would find her perched on the rooftop of some building, gazing down at the streets like a predator looking for her next target. "Took you two long enough."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 8h

Crescent smirked. It's the kind that makes anyone shiver in fear, especially for a certain white haired girl. "Any clothes shop you recommend?"

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 8h

By the time the kiddos were talking, she and her Zoroark had already exterminated the teams of every single Hyperspace Trainers. Where is she now? Who knows...

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 8h

The black haired girl halfheartedly returned the hug. 🌙: "Now what brings you here?"

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 11h

🐲: "Personally I'm feeling apricot." 🌙: "I'm going with starfruit." They're all just joining in on Kai's jokes it seems.

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 11h

Well, if anything, you should be more concerned for the Hyperspace Trainers and their Pokémon. Crescent is practically going on a rampage and slaughtering anyone who was unfortunate enough to get into a battle with her...

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 12h

Crescent just sniffed haughtily. 🌙: "About time." Really, he got so caught up in seeing his daughter that he forgot about her.

110

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 12h

🐲: "As long as you're safe." She could've sent her Aegislash, but cold metal is hardly suitable for grounding people back to reality. Volcarona's warmth and fluffiness is ideal for this.

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 12h

All of a sudden, crimson shadows arose to ambush any nearby Hyperspace Trainer! In a flash, the shadows congregate, and out she stepped - scythe in hand like a graceful shinigami, with a Hisuian Zoroark at her side. "Do it." The ghostly fox unleashed a deafening screech... It used Hyper Voice!

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 21h

Warmth enshrouded the petrified girl, as a fiery moth with peculiar colors wrapped its wings around Kai for comfort. It's not one of Kai's Pokémon... so Hauyne's? Did she send her Volcarona to check in on Kai when the blonde didn't return?

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 21h

... Hey wait a minute, where did Crescent go? She was just behind them not moments ago, and what's left is a mere shadow.

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 22h

The two seemed to fall back into a familiar rhythm the moment they spoke, soon engrossed in a seemingly interesting conversation. By the time Kai returned, the blonde would've seen them holding hands and slipping in a sneaky kiss.

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 22h

Sneaky? She's good at being sneaky... but can her new team say the same? Does it count if she uses an attack of her own? Ah, so many questions... "Do we split up?"

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

🌙: "It's treating me just fine. I've been enjoying my time here so far."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

"Nothing you need to worry about."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

"A new one. I didn't want to outright destroy any opponent that comes my way." But her old team is only a phone call away anyway, so it's not like she can't reach them. "...Hm."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

She looked hesitant to respond, but seemed to be a byproduct of the kiddos getting in on her face without warning. "I, uh, yes?"

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

🌙: "I can see that." It's a good thing that people tend to not notice her, or else it'll get overwhelmingly quickly.

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

She sighed. "If you must insist."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

She yelped as she got lifted. "I'm fine! Just had an episode, now put me down!"

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

She perked up when she heard that familiar voice. "....father?"

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

She sighed. "...Vola's right. You need to lay low and blend in, and your spirit friends will only expose you as a visitor to this world."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

She's still able to find Crescent, so tugging at Kai's arm to signal the blonde to follow her closely, they both dove through the crowd to find Crescent seated upon a bench. "Ah, Crescent... hope we didn't keep you waiting."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

"That's the rule we have here." She shrugged. It's so commonplace that no one really questioned it. "If you engage in a Pokemon Battle with someone and you lose, you have to pay the victor their prize money."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

She followed Kai's lead, heading towards the rendezvous spot that she and Crescent both agreed on.

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

"She... should be around Prism Tower. Near the entrance of the Wild Zone."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

"We use a universal currency here. If you have any spare valuables you're not going to miss, I recommend selling them." She hummed. "Or you can go extort some Trainers for money."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

She takes Kai's hand gratefully, letting the blonde pull her up. "Y-yeah... let's go meet her."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

"Yes, we're married." If the gold ring glinting on her left ring finger doesn't indicate anything, I don't know what does. "Couldn't you convert your currency into ours? From what I know, gold is gold."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

She smiles back weakly. "Heh... thanks."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

"...no." Crescent has already made up her mind. "You both have your own money. Go spend that instead of leeching off ours."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

She cautiously took the blindfold first, dusting off any dirt it may have gotten, then wrapped it around her eyes before tying a knot behind her head. The mask comes next, the flat structure curving to affix itself in place.

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

She stares at Chloe blankly. "You are plotting to steal gold from a dragon's hoard, is this really worth it?"

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

She nodded. She could make out the silhouette of the furniture, but... not the accessories she discarded so carelessly.

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

...what are these children even on about? Even as an Interceptor, she understands none of it.

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Hell if she knows. "...we're in Lumiose City, the capital of the Kalos region. I have no idea what France is."

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

"...you too, Astrid." Sniffling, she finally pulls away from the embrace. Seems like she's feeling better, enough to attempt to return to her usual self.

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

"I'm already here, in Lumiose. It'll be a waste not to browse through the best this city has to offer about fashion, don't you think?"

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

🐲 / 🌙 Nearby, sitting on a bench, were the two of them. Their hands entwined, and enjoying the city breeze in the afternoon light together.

100

Hauyne & Co. @interceptrio.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

"Define 'random stuff.'" What she liked may as well be random stuff to children, after all. "Besides, Hauyne's too frugal for her own good. Hoarding all that money and for what?"
