I think it's my tendency to get annoyed when people hate on something for "incorrect" reasons, and most of the hate against Trudeau for the latter half of his thing were all about things that... were actually good. Because it was conservatives hating him for things like supporting queer rights

Neoliberalism is the path to fascism, I agree, but liberals align with neoliberalism to differing degrees, and there are some people where you can pull against that, and some people where you can't. If you can't choose someone who actively fights it, you can at least pick someone you can fight

Okay, one of the first times I went out after being born was to a logging protest that my mom was documenting. One of my first memories is being in a courthouse where an 90 year old woman was getting sentenced for obstructing logging. I was raised by activists, I've been doing this my whole life.

I would love to vote Green but the only green MP who can get elected is Elizabeth May, so I'm left to choose between who I think my best option is because we're stuck with strategic voting (because Trudeau didn't change things, as was said) and that sucks, but it's the only real option

I don't know if I agree that meaningful change requires entirely dropping "lesser of two evils", though. Evils are sometimes the only option, and one allows for the possibility of things getting better through efforts, even if not taken directly by the people in charge, and some make it hard.

Fair, though if I may recommend using SDL for input despite your distaste for it because it's so good at just handling all the cases and controllers that I think it's just used by every major engine now. You can see the input module as one of Godot's thirdparty things, and it's also in Source

Oh I just assumed Unity because that's what Street Uni X was in (or, I thought it was) I haven't done DLC myself but I'm the kind of person who has looked into the actual PCK code and how its loading works so I can help with technical stuff lol
