Not the first such poll. Colom is also an excellent candidate and Hyde-Smith is a horrendous one. Given recent public support for Colom from Harris, Schumer, Warwick, and Obama, I’m guessing the internals are just as close.

I'm reading through our annual campus security & fire safety report. In 2026 there were 10 rapes reported to "other university officials", but 0 rapes reported to campus police. These 10 rapes "were not officially reported to or investigated by" campus police. These 10 rapes happened on campus.

The chancellor was wrong for firing Lauren Stokes for her speech. And in firing Stokes, the Chancellor has effectively chilled the speech of everyone else on campus by giving the mob a heckler’s veto.
