Wanted to learn Scribus, so I made a little digital zine about all the books I read in 2023 and my thoughts on some of them. It is *not great*, but was fun to play around with. instantastronaut.itch.io/bibliophilia...

Got these gorgeous mushroom prints at the recent queer zine fest here in Sac. Pictures don't do them justice.

Working on the next zine - Hillbilly Soup, a small collection of 5 traditionally Southern recipes and their personal and/or cultural significance. Not the greatest artist, but it's okay. Food is often a little ugly. First up is sausage balls and cat head biscuits.

Is a recipe zine something worth creating? A few recipes, each with stories about their personal/cultural significance. Art of each as well. I love the idea of sharing recipes with people this way

Working on a short story zine. Inspired by growing up in Alabama and the stories we'd hear of the panthers that roamed the hills. #zine #zines
