$IKEA review dialog for a BRIMMES bed titled "Impossible assembly & brittle parts" with the content "In step six, this product requires that you connect three pieces of wood via cam locks- one in the middle, and two on either side of it. This would be all well and good if they keys were longer, the holes were bored properly- but they're not, and that's before even mentioning how inadequately they stress the importance of this step. In having to reattempt this step so many times (several times with two others assisting me), I had multiple of the cam locks physically snap, and the wood fractured to the point of being irreparable. Since the only way to get replacement parts is to go to a physical store, and I lack a car at the moment, this will seriously set back the timeline of me properly settling into my new home, even if I were to hire someone to assemble it for me. I love IKEA products in general, but this level of difficulty in assembly is frankly unacceptable."$
