Please do provide pictures of your character and poses you would like as well! I will send sketches during the process and you can make changes as you like. But once I start lineart no more changes will be made. Aside from that I hope we all have fun! Please message me if you want a commission!

Click to view the full thread. I'm still of the opinion don't harass anyone. There is no need to stoop to another person's level

030

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

You are unwilling to see it outside of your own stuff. You are betting on the idea Rikku knows of your ideas and lore. You aren't willing to accept she didn't know, but that is only on you. She gave her peace, I gave mine, and you still cling to your own ideas. All in all, have a good day or night.

120

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

I understand if Chel or King respond though I hope they at least read. Again this is not to produce hate. DO NOT HARASS ANYONE OR SEND HATE.

030

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

I hope this isn't what the Avatar community has come to nor the Art community. I don't make this to direct hate, and I will say this again as well. Do not attack ANYONE mentioned in this post. No matter how you feel that is uncalled for.

020

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

Both of you could have asked or even gathered actual evidence of theft of your designs and ideas, but you didn't. You simply put a person on blast and refused to hear them out when they tried to explain.

120

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

Is her simply trying to clarify and show she did not take the character design gaslighting now? Please reconsider your words and actions as they are harmful, even if it's just over a screen. I'll end this by saying none of this needed to happen.

100

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

I understand wanting to protect your characters and ideas, but you must understand nothing is original to just you. You were unreasonably rude and unwilling to hear out Rikku. You outright said that she was gaslighting, but I ask you where that was happening?

100

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

She made her character more human looking for the Avatar universe. You can't tell me you haven't done the same with your own characters for fandoms you love. King, I don't understand your anger at all.

100

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

King, you also mentioned someone showed you the post Rikku made in order to clear this up, and you said, " That's not the same design. The one they have them in now is a 1:1 copy of our shit." Rikku was showing the old design to showcase the suit and how old her character is.

100

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

You also mentioned that their suits were the same, which that too is simply a coincidence, Rikku had another character with a suit similar to the one her character Ava has now. That character dates back farther to 2016.

100

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

King also made a comment on how Rikku has not addressed "What they yanked from our AU outside of that."and I have to ask, did it ever cross your mind that she simply doesn't know your AU? Again, the ideas you all have are similar but have their own differences to fit your own characters.

100

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

She really tried to show it was a coincidence, and she meant no ill will, but King was not willing to even bother with it. The design both Chel and Rikku have are similar, but they have their differences as well.

100

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

Rikku was kinda in her address of the situation, and she made sure to show that the character was not a ripoff but a character she has had since 2018, and she stated it got a redesign in 2023.

100

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

Now, as for @kingsevil.bsky.social, I have seen around before, and I'm sure I've liked a post or two, but I can not offer as grace as I did Chel as King has not been so kind. I can understand wanting to defens your own stuff, but there was no reason to be so harsh or rude.

210

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

All in all, I thank Chel for being respectful and not trying to villanize someone who just had a character design similar to their own.

100

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

Trying to paint this as everyone would be able to see everyone's stuff feels a bit disingenuous, but I digress. Again, that does not mean I can't understand that feeling of someone possibly copying your work, but that just isn't what happened.

100

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

Chel mentioned that fandoms like this one (Avatar) are essentially small enough that everyone can see and recognize each other. That I don't agree with as fandoms are rather large, especially this one, i myself have never heard or seen of Chel till this moment.

100

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

I will say I'm grateful for @chelbizzaro.com and their rather respectful response. They were not rude or mean in my eyes, and they were even willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but I do have to disagree with some things they say. Mind you, this is how I interpreted this.

100

inolaphoenix.bsky.social @inolaphoenix.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

DO NOT ATTACK ANYONE MENTIONED Okay, so I want to start this off by saying I'm a friend of Rikku, but I will be trying to come at this from a somewhat neutral perspective. First, I wanna say this entire thing is extremely dumb on multiple levels, but that does not mean I can't understand it.
