Speaking of being willing to do anything for your dog… Frida has been developing trouble walking. Primary vet diagnosed ataxia and referred us to a holistic vet. She has now had 2 sessions of acupuncture, taking it like a pro! Fingers crossed that it will help… #seniordogs

My 17 year old chihuahua has weak legs and her paws slip on the (fake wood) tile floor. I saw a relevant ad for these stick-on paw pads by Dog Friendly Co. They are targeted for walking dogs on hot pavement and keeping paws clean, with a lesser use for reducing slipping… #dogfriendlyco

In the more remote parts of the island, there are wild horses that live in the sand dunes and run on the beach. I took a tour today to see them. Their ancestors survived a Spanish shipwreck 500 years ago!

The big disappointment was a return visit to Eleven Madison Park. A 3-Michelin-star restaurant. We went there a year ago when it was completely #vegan and it was quite possibly the best meal of my life. Last night the food was blah. Mi’lady agreed. #whatveganseat

I took a short but expensive trip to New York just to see the Radiohead exhibition/film in Brooklyn. They are my favorite band by very far, so it was worth every penny!

I am so proud to work for a major healthcare organization that prioritizes the LGBTQ+ community! I represented my employer's Pride employee group, and our Pride clinic, at Northern Virginia's largest Pride festival. It was great to meet many of our patients, and even some coworkers I had never met.

Oleum is a #vegan upscale restaurant in Baltimore. The menu has lots of great options. I had the vegan shrimp appetizer (too salty) and the pesto with vegan chicken (too bland). My friend liked her vegan steak. Hit or miss, but I’d go back to try something different next time! #whatveganseat

It is estimated that around 92 billion land animals are killed for food each year. On top of that, approximately two trillion fish are killed annually. All animals, whatever farm they are raised in, did not choose to be there.
