I miss TTRPGs so much I dreamt about them… fuck. Now I am sad I can’t play with no one. Gonna sleep

120

InkvoiceVT @inkvoice.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Just woke at 4:30 am because I thought this in a dream

010

InkvoiceVT @inkvoice.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Finally: Redo: start a counter for the whole group. Make it plausible for them to fight back. When the boss feels they cant win this fight. Use once After X turns (or few rounds) are done. Re-start the fight. All healed like they were in the beginning (also means all damage already there). Oh my!

000

InkvoiceVT @inkvoice.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Time acceleration: Remake turns. That means everyone has to throw again. Boss suddenly has 2 turns for 2-3 rounds. Make it a normal cooldown or adapt it for the fight to be balanced Also all the damage over time if there is… its done in this mech again.

100

InkvoiceVT @inkvoice.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

For them everything suddenly first feels slow (adrenaline) then so fast they are frozen in time. They cant move for that turn. Always leave allies to protect them or to make up for that time. After that they come back to the same turns… right? Nah, another mech can change that!

100

InkvoiceVT @inkvoice.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Another mech: Time prison: Point to a certain number of players. Put sandclocks (of 1-5 minutes). Tell them beforehand that they have to think fast. The selected ones have to make their turn in that time. Cant use their turn on time this round. Can't react until the next boss's turn.

100

InkvoiceVT @inkvoice.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Outcomes: + X= they heal X low stress points 0 = no damage no heals. You can say that every + is that you feel healed but then every - makes you suffer a pain in different place - X = they damage you X points of stress That way can work for and against the boss and makes a breath for players
