iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Four (!!) Of the YCHs are now sold, thank you so much for the interest everyone! I still have a couple more and a few slots open, but have stepped away from the table to get cracking 🔥💪 Will update with progress photos as they are completed!

I am trial running some traditional YCHs this year, in the hopes that it might inspire folks without a solid idea, or speed up the commission process a bit. They can be finished as a sketch for $125, or a toned line for $300. I currently have 8 poses available, including some feral dragons!

A portfolio of sketches lays out on a table labeled "YCH (your character here) commissions available at-con". Pieces of pink, brown, and taupe paper filled with various loose sketches of anthro characters lay out on top of the book.

A photo of a traditional sketch featuring a curly tailed femme seated and glancing flirtatiously at the viewer drawn on pink paper.

A photo of a traditional sketch, featuring an androgynous bunny from a high angle, holding an imaginary crown on their head with a cheeky grin.

Arden and I are all set up at @goblfc.org in the den, table 609! I am a little low on shirt stock, but doing my usual commission offerings (plus trying out something new!) #furry • #furryart • #blfc • #blfc2026

The Inkmaven Art booth, with Arden sitting just behind, is set up in the Dealer's Den with screen printed t-shirts, stickers, luster and metallic foil prints, wall scrolls, and custom art offerings. The table has a warm, saturated, fantasy vibe with lots of secondary colors including purple and teal, and is framed with green ivy.

The "experience all the privileges of ownership" thing sure aged well, huh... It feels like its taunting me.

It was definitely nice for a little while! With a bit more sun/less wind it would have been perfect reading weather 👌

Inkmaven @ BLFC @inkmaven.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

It's cold when the sun isn't out, but just barely comfortable when it is (between the hot drink and the outer layer). I could get used to being on a beach in the fall...

Rare aesthetic: goth in a sweatshirt and boots drinking hot cocoa on a beach in October 🍂☕️⛱️

Ink presents a small cup of hot cocoa to the camera. Behind them are blue skies, a pine tree, and the hills of the lake Tahoe area.

POV: you are a very confused, out of place goth chilling on the beach in the sun in long sleebes, skinny jeans, and boots. You have a cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows.

#BLFC2026 Wear a mask. That means wear an N95 in all public indoor areas but especially in con space. I will have a limited amount of N95s with me. If you need one, just ask! Protect yourself and your community. We are ramping up hard for Covid/Flu season and western NV already has high levels.

Covid heat map based on cdc wastewater levels from October 12. Particularly high levels in California, Pacific Northwest, Texas, Alaska and Florida.

SO much. But a lot of this is setting up scaffolding so future projects go smoother. So, hopefully things get easier moving forward.

Thank you Glen!! I know trains are kind of left field for me LOL, but it's been truly a wonderful experience working with the team to help bring their passions to table (even if it isn't my special interest). There's just something about working with people who genuinely love their niche.

This has been a long time in the making, and I am so massively relieved. I had a hand in making the map, designed and rendered all of the token images, did the kickstarter branding, and (re)designed the box logo. Working with this company has been really fulfilling.

A small selection of poker chip-like tokens with various uses and images. Some feature small illustrations of commodities to be moved about the map by rail, others correspond to events or other special gameplay elements.

CSP being pressed to take even just /kissing/ off their asset store and FA being told that plus sized characters are considered adult should be a giant waving red flag to folks. Sex workers have /always/ been right to say these policies never stop with 1 type of content. They always wanna ban more.

Contract work never comes when you have time for it it seems, and I had a full but manageable load of commissions on deck when they asked. This is likely going to be a pretty long-term business relationship if things go well, so managing a balance between that and what I do here is important to me.

Kickstarter for the board game contract launches in a little over a week. After, I'm planning to ask my boss for a couple of weeks so I can clear out as much of my owed work as possible before going back to contract stuff. Hoping at that point I should have a better work/work balance, lmao.

Payment processors, banks, & politicians knew we would slow down to a halt eventually if they held out long enough. If you're not still calling, writing, emailing, @ ing on socials, what-have-you (though calls are best), now is as good of a time as any to start back up.

So, a cool thing happened at closing ceremonies. I am pleased to announce I'll be a Guest of Honor at @furrymigration.org next year. Honored by and excited for the opportunity!

A mock computer desktop screen shows a game booted in windowed mode, with four members od an adventuring party queued and ready to start play. The first three party members are Rico (labeled as the Con Chair/Party Lead), Inkmaven (Artist/Guest of Honor), Vonzent (Artist/Guest of Honor), and the fourth member, also a guest of Honor, has errored out.

Only took 2 commissions today, so if you are interested in something, tomorrow is a great time to stop by and snag a slot! I am perfectly content to have a more relaxed con, but if you've struggled to grab a slot before I close in the past, I have space for you ✨️

Our fest job started yesterday, and typically Monday would be a rest day after two 12ish hour days on our feet outdoors... But contract work means deadlines, so there will be no such rest for me this week! I am armed with caffeine, wish me luck 🙏🧋✨️

Since I am not con crunching for this one I had the opportunity to scan it at several stages: initial inking pass, line weighting, and toning. You'd be forgiven for thinking my lines are done when all of the pencil is replaced with ink, but not so! Kinda fun to watch it all come together.

Ok, noted for future posts! 🫡

Oh my bad, did you need me to repost? I see you liking stuff on occasion and must have grabbed the wrong one.

Thank you! There were a lot of fun challenges with this one. Shading the fabric was particularly enjoyable.
