As far as this recipe goes, I learned plain kefir is a good replacement for buttermilk (an ingredient not common in Spain) I learned so much just by reading through the book last night. Now I have a small shopping list of new-to-me equipment to buy. The dough whisk seems like a gamechanger!!

I toasted them for two minutes in a tiny pat o’ foamy butter, as you would for eggs. I Then another 4 minutes with milk over the same medium heat until it was the thickness I like. This looked, smelled and IS delicoousss. One small step really changed everything.

Yesterday I went somewhere that wasn’t a doctor’s appointment for the first time in over a month 🫠👍 Xavi had some errands, which took us near the Molotow shop near our old apartment I got an empty brushpen and a dark violet shade to level up the contrast in my work 💪

They got back to me with a potential solution, and it worked! For anyone else who suddenly finds their zoom has been locked in Clip Studio Paint on ipad:

1. Launch Clip Studio Paint.
2. Open the [Clip Studio Paint] menu and select [Preferences].
In the left-hand menu, select [Canvas]. Then, under the available options, uncheck [Limit the display scale of tools and gestures] to turn this setting off.
3. Click [OK] to apply the changes, then test the app again.

You reminded me that I have a little tub of that stuff tucked away, and even though I hadn’t cleaned the brown handled brushes for a LONG time, they still washed up to nearly new close to the barrel 👀👍 Next time I visit the US I need to get one of the mega tubs I had in college
