A Noble House. One of my absolute favorite pieces to date! I’m so in love with this little dove and his unconventional home. Really hoping to make prints so I can hold onto this design. #woodburning #woodburner #woodcraft #birds #birdart #medievalart #knightart

A woodburned plaque depicting a knights helmet. The front of the helmet is open revealing a dove that’s built a nest inside. The nest is made of twigs and brambles. Around both the nest and the helmet are sprigs of blackberry bushes, some of which are incorporated into the nest.

Wowie what a day! My first ever market and it was such a lovely time!! Really hope I can do a few more of these down the line. #artmarket #woodburning #woodburner #artfair #woodcraft

Found this nearly cracked, dried out, lil neglected piece of wood at the craft store the other day and couldn’t help but want to give it some new life. Been super fond of irises recently. #irises #iris #sciart #woodburning #woodburner #pyrogrpahy #flowerart

Final Draft was workable for dual writing but it definitely had its hiccups. My cowriter and I just opted to do individual drafts and then edit them together which worked well for the program.

My first ever commissioned woodburning! This bird is a Quetzal and it was such a joy and challenge to burn. I so badly wanted to capture the beautiful flowing flight of these birds. #birdart #birds #quetzal #woodburning #woodburner #pyrography #woodcraft

An oval woodburned plaque of a quetzal flying through the forest. The birds wings are outstretched as its tail feathers flow behind it. It’s framed by leaves and berries.

tabling at a ceramics fair

Two panels from a black and white comic. In the left panel a cat character is standing behind a table of novelty teapots. A customer is saying "these teapots bring me such joy! I'll buy three." The cat character is saying "so kind!". In the right panel a different customer is saying "this is weird and expensive" while holding up a teapot. The cat character looks deflated and is saying "oh".

An ode to one of my favorite films of all time! I’ve been missing illustration and recently rewatched #theexorcist which inspired me to pick up the pencil again. I’ve always loved the parts of the film that feel like a medical horror. #illustration #illustrator #fanart #horrorart

An illustrated poster for The Exorcist. The character Regan is center of the composition in a medical gown looking to right with a smile on her face. Behind her is a wall of brain scans all of which have demonic faces.

Two #barnowls two years apart! The first is one from Dec 2024 and the one on the right is my most recent burn. It’s hard to believe I’ve only been doing this a couple of years and it’s wild to see how much my approach has changed. #birds #birdart #owl #woodburning #woodburner #pyrography

Happy anniversary to #KidLitArtPostcard ! I managed to whip this up for the theme! I was a kid who was always imagining little friends or creatures with intricate inner lives who could be my playmates. Also, yes, I was somehow blonde. I’m currently looking for representation!
