Been diggin' this latest single 7", "Good Weed and Red Wine/Dopus No. 1", (I got the digital dl on Bandcamp) all day Sunday. It's groovy enough to dance to and also has a relaxing vibe, that summer time theme song feel. True Loves Play Jazz Alley (Seattle) Tues 3/25 & Wed 3/26

Listening to the debut LP by Black Ends, Psychotic Spew on green vinyl, available at Bandcamp right now. Get 1 before they're all gone. We're blasting it at night & it's just the tonic for these trying times. Gunk-pop fro the soul, indie as it's meant to be. Read more on our FB post @inheavyrotation

We're into new things. But, what is it? #Frailcore ? #Scenecore Well OK, then. Not gonna deny there's a certain something here. I can see why you'd stay up all night dancing, high as a kite to this... Do not ask me how the name of this outfit or person is pronounced. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0V8j...

RJC- Soon as I saw the name of this band, I knew. Had to be from the PNW scene. I did some time there too, as a worker, though. The Band is Regional Justice Center, song is aptly titled, FREEDOM. Speedcore, screaming, wanting to be heard. More noise please, RJC. www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5_d...

A 1993 interview of Kim Deal of Breeders, Pixies on ABC's (Australia Broadcasting Company) radio show, Triple J. w/Richard Kingsmill. She's open, funny, human, real. This would be an interesting intro to the Deal sisters and this part of the old indie music scene. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0Ps...
