Of all the arguments pro dishwasher, the only thing that I’m sympathetic to is that accessibility argument! Everything else, assuming non-commercial/non-exceptional household situations, just sounds like excuses to use it for its own sake.

My problem isn’t that dishes come out dirty, my problem is that there’s often confusion about where dishware/utensils are, having to wait for critical mass, laziness in a multiperson household about putting things away, etc. I just prefer people handwash things, simpler that way.

I’m not mystified by how they work, I’m principally opposed to letting things pile up or raise confusion about where certain utensils or dishware is, especially in a multi person household. I much prefer the “handwash as you go” take. Don’t want a big mess to clean? Don’t make one!

And all of these reservations exist assuming that the dishwasher process works. Sometimes the dishes still come out dirty, and you end up having to wash them again anyway. Any potential water you may have saved is wasted.

used. Sure I could handwash the individual things I need, but I prefer to just handwash it begin with. That way, you know what’s where and when. Also keeps a low volume of dirty dishes, even if you let one or two slip.

HEALTH UPDATE: -Antibiotics rash spurned on by mono is mostly gone, but dealing with the residual sensitivity in skin - Throat is getting better after a regimen of prednisone - now dealing with a runny nose and mild congestion that’s pretty controllable - dry mouth in the morning, but getting better

Statement on Health Situation
Greetings Comrades and Friends,
Leave it to me to make a health update into a press release!
For the past week and a half, I've been dealing with some kind of malady that through elimination my doctor's thinking is a case of mononucleosis.
What seemed to confirm it was my body's reaction to a regimen of antibiotics. Tablets of amoxicillin were prescribed to me under the understanding that my worsening throat/tonsil situation which started early last week was a simple case of bacterial infection. When the doctor saw little improvement at a follow-up appointment earlier this week, she advised I stop the antibiotics and said she couldn't "rule out the possibility of mono." A general bloodwork conducted last week seemed to corroborate abnormal liver function, which usually portends a case of mono and for which I'll be scheduling an ultrasound under doctor's orders in the next week.

Earlier today, I woke up to a forming rash that started across my face, neck, and eventually chest, back, and in a limited capacity on my arms and legs. The rash, currently, is not giving me any pain but they certainly feel swollen and have induced the return of a fever and headache.
This, as I now understand, is a common side effect of being prescribed antibiotics for a viral infection, particularly mononucleosis. Short of a final blood test, the condition is more or less confirmed.
Obviously, this is not news I would have liked to hear. September was supposed to be a big come-back month that kickstarts a campaign into the holiday months. Knowing I'll be dealing with difficulty to swallow and fatigue for up to another month and a half weighs heavy on me.
Not only will revenue tank as I'm hampered by fatigue, my ability to tackle existing creative projects will likely also be reduced.
Please, stick with my in this time as I attempt to strike a recovery-work balance necessary to literally keeping the lights on and myself insured.

So on top of everything, and with medical bills likely (even with insurance), revenue is at a low point, woo! This September sucks, man. I’ve basically only spent a couple days of it feeling healthy.

An area-specific rash (face, neck, chest, and hands) as a side effect of the amoxicillin I was taking when we thought it was a bacterial thing. Nominally, this rash goes away in like a day or three (we’ll see :P), and it isn’t painful or itchy. It’s just mainly unsightly. Fun fun fun times!

The weird thing about being sick with whatever I have is that I've gone 15-20 hours without eating and haven't felt the inclination to eat anything whatsoever, all while watching food videos. Something about GARLIC BREAD turned on my hunger switch and now I wish I had some with a plate of pasta.

Unfortunately there's no "alternative" to the word being used as a category, but it's often abused by performatively masculine influencers who like the idea of the status of menswear, but have no respect or idea of why suits and whatnot work. It's all just vanity to them.

Love getting these “menswear” (and even that’s a stretch) ads promoting “bespoke” suits and it’s the most god awful, slim fit, tiny lapel jackets with modern douchebro popped collars. Pro tip: if you’re wearing a suit, wear a tie. No tie signals casual, if you want casual, wear a sport coat.

I'm taking the movie on its own terms/meeting it where it's at. We can say "therapist not following procedure" is an example of the movie making a point inelegantly, but what is KP trying to "say" ultimately? I think *that* is where the movie suffers, because its "answers" are nebulous.
