NEW VIDEO! For almost two decades, Tim Heidecker & Gregg Turkington have woven meta-narratives, paratexts, & reams of ludicrous lore into "On Cinema": an eternally collapsing depiction of personality disorders & vapidity. It may be the most ambitious comedy ever made. youtu.be/MYeSCC-4uFc?...

Sometimes when people post racist or hateful comments on my videos, I'll click on their profile to report/block them and I'll have a quick look at the kind of videos they watch and subscribe to while I'm at it. Today, this was a real real big mistake. ....

It's surprising how many out-and-proud neo-Nazis show up in the comments section of YouTube video essayists. Wait, I didn't mean to say "surprising". I meant to say "depressingly normal now"

NEW VIDEO! "Citizen Vigilante" is a grift in the shape of a burning cross. Uwe Boll’s latest release is a targeted campaign of racist disinformation and propagandised bigotry built to entice chuds and deflect blame from those Boll owes his career to: artless tax cheats. youtu.be/RsbwgGoZUaY?...

So, my next video is going to be debunking every single thing the racist propaganda film "Citizen Vigilante" says or stands for, and to save time for the pieces of shit who will no doubt spam the comments section, I made this handy bingo card for their extremely predictable gish-galloping cuntyness.

My review of "Evil Dead Burn": a good but not great movie that marries heads through windshields with twerking asses, and reminds the world that you can absolutely have too much of a rad thing boxd.it/faB80d

This is an accurate representation of "the discourse" now, and that clicking sound you're currently hearing is someone cocking the hammer and putting a gun in the mouth of all cultural discussion whenever anyone does anything Elon Musk can't cum about.

NEW VIDEO! "High Fidelity" is one of the most perfectly cringy indictments of "nice guy" dirtbags & gatekeepers ever made. So, why are so many retrospectives and shit-lib Letterboxd reviews incapable of differentiating between "depiction" & "endorsement"? youtu.be/UZDsFJIjpCk?... #highfidelity

Last time I checked, Jesse Lacey wasn't interested in anything or anyone over 15.

Today it was revealed that - with a budget of $659 million - the god-awful "Jurassic World: Dominion" is the most expensive movie ever made. Or, let me put that in a way that will make you vomit. That turd cost more than the combined budgets of the following 61 movies. .

Thoughts on #disclosureday I) If the emotional weight of your movie hinges on scenes with animals, don't use uncanny CGI that looks like AI slop. II) The message that "politics needs to be centrist because both sides are as bad as each other" is cowardly dog shit III) Movies need an ending.

#Backrooms is a confident display of dread & uncanny world-building, elevated by glitched aesthetics & patient ambiguity. Though the script stumbles by resorting to stock "trauma" thematic tropes, when it drops the words & lets the enveloping fluorescent hum lead the way, it's a glacial treat.

Letterboxd is an even split between sincerity, jokes, and the irony-free appropriation of the"Everything's Shit" Limmy sketch; "I went to see a movie, everyone said it was great, but it was just okay! Everyone said it was great, but it wasn't, it was SHIT! Everything's shit! Everything's shit!!"

Who else is just here to talk about the philosophical and intellectual nuance of 2003s Palme d'Or winner "The Core"?
