Grrrr... The HP workstation I bought second-hand requires a PROPRIETARY power connector for PCIe devices and they want almost €200 for it!!!

Not really surprised except for the scale. My #Bambu printer is the number 1 device requesting access to blocked services on my Pi hole. This is a printer in "LAN Only" mode! #privacy

Listening to Thiago Gonzaga talk about #observability during @jcon #EU - Maybe turn the monitor around?

Opening slide showing "The API Is slow" and check boxes showing the tests are OK and other checks are good. But the graphic shows a developer with a monitor facing away from them.

Thar has decided that sometimes she would like some belly rubs. When she would like these permissible belly rubs is solely of her choosing and she will let you know by rolling over onto her back and chirping. #Caturday

Our 6 year old white with grey spots short-haired cat rolled over on her back on top of the duvet, letting me gently rub her soft belly.

I started adding #Perses and #Prometheus dashboards for my #selfhost 'ed cloud server tonight and made decent progress. Now I just need to write a blog about how I did it and integrate it into my #Ansible automation.

A grid of 6 graphs showing CPU load by core, host memory, container CPU usages, container memory percentage, HTTP requests by service, and HTTP bytes by service.

Until recently our #cats never wanted to hang out in boxes. Buuuut... Put those boxes in a warm place and they line up for #caturday

#WTF YouTube Music thinks these bands are "Metal"? No wonder it gives me such bad recommendations! #EBM #Futurepop #Synthpop #Darkwave (Maybe?)

YouTube music us describing bands like "Solar Fake", "VNV Nation", and "Aesthetic Perfection" as "METAL"!!! So bad!

Sometimes, Open Source developers just make me laugh and facepalm at the same time. I was looking at the docs for Apache Calcite adapters and for some reason there is an adapter which lets you query your data in *PIG LATIN*?!?! #OpenSource #Calcite #ApacheCalcite #FOSS

A screenshort of the list of adapters for Apache Calcite which shows there is an adapter which provides Pig Latin support for the query language.
