#Hulk Vs. #Thor The best of the #Marvel Animated Features era. They ditched the #Ultimates & played a greatest hits of their classic comic clashes. Hulk rampaging through #Asgard is a damn good time. Apparently, it's in continuity with #Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes & #Wolverine & The #X-Men. 🤟

#MarvelLegends #Magic:TheGathering #Malice This is a pretty standard figure with a deluxe price tag. What are they charging for the #Magic card? Still, she does look great & I do love the extra unmasked head's maniacal expression. I would take a #MarvelRivals version also, please. Hold the card. 👍

All-New #Venom (2024) 1-10, Venom 250-262 This feels like a fun throw back to early 2000's #Marvel. Its tapping into that Peter David #CaptainMarvel energy & I am here for it. It is also Ewing writing a stealth #Spider-Man book. Carlos Gómez is the real star with his incredibly clean & slick art. 👍

Next #Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow The Avengers get the #Disney treatment a year before the merger. Really, its closer to #DonBluth. The Avengers' kids inheriting the #AgeOfUltron is relatable. It starts strong but feels like an act is missing. What's the point if they need #Hulk to save the day? 😑

Ultimate Impact: Reborn (2026) 1-5 It's a step-up from Ultimate #Spider-Man: Incursion, but just wreaks of mandated #MCU synergy. The new characters give me flashbacks of those god-awful #InfinityWatch replacements. The only one that gets any time to shine is #Hostilicus, who is undeniably cool. 😑

The cover to Ultimate Impact: Reborn #1. I obviously read it as Reborn: Ultimate Impact but the Marvel website corrected me.

Queen In Black (2026) 1-5, #Defenders of Light and Dark 1-3, #Venom Unchained 1-3, etc. This was fun at times but #Hela was lost in the chaos. I prefer the #MarvelRivals look. The tie-ins are required. The ending is ridiculous & comes out of nowhere. More #BetaRayBill & #Nova would have helped. 😑

#DoctorStrange: The Sorcerer Supreme It has a bit of a Kung Fu #Ghostbusters thing going on. The art style improved. Thankfully, the #MCU avoided this mistake of relegating magic to mostly just manifesting swords. This #Dormammu is terrible. They should have used #Nightmare. It ends in a whimper. 😑

The Invincible #IronMan Thank god the Iron Man movie didn't start with the #Mandarin or the #MCU might have been dead on arrival. The 3D rendered action feels weightless. Who was this targeted at? The billionaire drama is painfully boring but the plot feels lifted from a Saturday morning cartoon. 👎

#Avengers #Endgame: Encore It was great reliving an all-timer theatre experience. The crowd cheered through the third act, but it felt a little forced. The new #Doomsday scenes are stingers peppered through the credits & were way more important than I expected. This version better hit #Disney+. 👍

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Ultimate #Avengers 2: The Rise of the Panther Using the #Chitauri again was the first of many bad ideas. I hate the design & lazily cobbled together alien invasion tropes. Nothing bothers me more than this sleeveless transforming #BlackPanther though. It's embarrassing this inspired Joss Whedon. 😑

010

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Ultimate #Avengers: The Movie This feels like the MCU's test run. Its surprising how much ended up in the 1st movie. They impressively pulled off a cinematic tone on a low budget. It really comes together in the epic battle between the Avengers & #Hulk that the #MCU still hasn't truly delivered. 🤟

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

The #Avengers: United They Stand Season 1 Starting with the B team #WestCoastAvengers was a terrible idea. #WarMachine probably would've helped. The art style & animation is painfully generic. They are constantly changing into ugly extreme '90s costumes to make toys that were never going to sell. 👎

Ant-Man and the Wasp transferring Wonder Man's brain pattern into the Vision.

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

#X-Men: Destiny on #Nintendo #Wii The worst version of the worst #Marvel game. This whole thing was a scam. Apparently #SiliconKnights funnelled the budget to an #EternalDarkness 2 that never came out. You should have to go to jail for releasing a product this bad. Bankruptcy will have to do. 💩

The terrible art that accompanies all the dialog trees.

#MarvelLegends #FutureFoundation #Mr.Fantastic & #Spider-Man 2-Pack, #Thing & #InvisibleWoman 2-Pack This was sorely missing from my Hickman #Marvel toy collection. They all look fantastic. I love Reed's stretched fingers, but his bendy arms are a little stiff & Sue's FX are needlessly awkward. 👍

#X-Men Origins: #Wolverine on #Nintendo #Wii This is the same as the #PS2 version. They lack the gore & healing FX. The character models are fine but everything else feels like an ugly, choppy #PS1 game. Its all bad hit detection, loading in & out of small rooms, & instant loss quick time events. 👎

#Marvel Gold ‘76 (2026) 1 This feels targeted directly at my interests. It’s listed as 616 continuity so this is the 1st time #Nova & #Star-Lord meet in their classic looks. Please tell me this means they’ve undone Bendis’ terrible retcon. Madibek Musabekov makes the retro costumes feel timeless. 🤟

#CaptainMarvel: Dark Past (2026) 1-5 After the hiatus I was anticipating a bold new direction. Unfortunately, this is just more of the same. Enough of the convoluted family drama already. She’s a colonel in desperate need of a character defining #Annihilation War moment. The art is great though. 😑

#X-Men '97 S02E09 This finale had a lot of heavy lifting in order to successfully close this season. The action was fun but the fights mostly felt low stakes outside of #Cable. I don't like the direction of the #Rogue & #Gambit storyline this season, but the emotional ending paid off beautifully. 👍

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

#X-Men: Destiny on #Nintendo DS This has to be the dullest #Marvel game ever made. Playing as a generic original character who throws purple balls at guys in different coloured shirts doesn't resemble X-Men in the least. It doesn't even have touch controls. The Ron Lim art is the only positive. 💩

Two generic looking people standing in the street. One is glowing purple.

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

#X-Men: Destiny on #Xbox 360 This is an X-Men game where you can’t play as any of the classic characters, or even create your own. It’s ugly, clunky, has terrible sound mixing, bad direction and is padded with boring dialogue trees. The only compliment I can give is the notifications are dynamic. 💩

Your generic original character standing in the street with Ice Man and Emma Frost.

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

#X-Men Origins: #Wolverine on #Sony PSP It's a clunky hack & slash with charmingly miniature levels. We visit Japan to fight #TheHand in this version & Africa is much more realistic. Surprisingly, this one tells the best story by framing levels around #WilliamStryker extracting Logan's memories. 😑

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

#WhatIf...? #Spider-Man (2026) 1 J.M. DeMatteis returns for a worthy follow-up to his classic #Kraven'sLastHunt. He & Yildiray Cinar do a great job recapturing the iconic noir-like tone. I love the direction they took. It feels wonderfully authentic, like it could have come out in the late '80s. 🤟

#RocketRaccoon: Rocket Rewind (2026) 1 This was a rough first impression. It doesn't get good until the beautiful Keith Giffen tribute tied to the reprint of Rocket's true first appearance. It's rare that the frame story steals the show. Add the Mike Mignola variant cover & it was well worth it. 👍

#X-Men '97 S02E08 This was not how I saw this all going down. They seem to be mixing cherry picked elements of bad #Apocalypse stories to keep things fresh and surprising. #Rogue needed more development. As the penultimate episode I am worried this arc will end before fully finding it's footing. 👍

010

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

#WonderMan S01 This is the opposite of the #Marvel stereotype film snobs whine about, almost feeling like a carefully crafted rebuttal. The cinematography feels indie. The rare FX are refreshingly subtle. It's the Hollywood inside baseball critics love, but with irresistibly relatable characters. 🤟

Wonder Man is pissed about the cancelation of season 2.

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

#Daredevil: Born Again S02 A revolutionary epic that hit at the right moment. This is the best season, topping #Netflix Daredevil season 3. The struggle brings new dimension to characters that were already incredibly layered. The parallel character arcs masterfully build a tense collision course. 🤟

The #Punisher (2005) on #Xbox This is up there with #Spider-Man 2 & #Hulk: Ultimate Destruction for best #Marvel game adaptation. Punisher via #ManHunt & #MaxPayne is just perfect. The presentation is superb. Thomas Jane killed it & I'm glad he got to at least voice a comic accurate Frank Castle. 🤟

#Spider-Man: Brand New Day God bless Tom Holland for forcing #Sony to keep it street level. It's the most comic-accurate live-action Spidey film. I was hoping for more from the villains but they really helped the world feel lived in. #Punisher, #Hulk & Sadie Sink all served the themes beautifully.🤟

#X-Men '97 S02E07 As a kid watching the original series I always wanted more #Nightcrawler and #Colossus, so this was great. Taking the focus off #Wolverine to spotlight the rest was the best decision they made. They could have pushed elements further, but Nightcrawler's speeches were beautiful. 👍

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

#DIRTYLAUNDRY I respect Tom Jane for caring enough to make a fan film that attempts to make good on his misbegotten take on #Punisher. That said, its giving #ManOfSteel vibes in his blasé attitude toward innocents being victimized. The gore is clearly the whole point though & it delvers at least. 😑

010

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

The #Punisher: The Ultimate Payback! for #Nintendo Game Boy It had to be first person to fit on a handheld. This means you can’t dodge bullets, which totally breaks the difficulty. They dropped #Kingpin & added an incredibly small & out of character #Spider-Man cameo. There’s more music at least. 😑

Amazing #Spider-Man (2025) 32, Uncanny #X-Men 31, #FantasticFour 14, #Wolverine 24 The Disability Pride backup brings nearly everyone with a disability in to stop #Hobgoblin from using the Mind Stone in a plot to "cure" autism. It's a mess & really needed to just focus on #Finesse & #Daredevil. 👎

#FantasticFour First Foes: #ShallaBal I was interested to see this expand on the backstory of the underused #SilverSurfer. We only got a glimpse of her divergent origin in the movie. Unfortunately, this really doesn't answer any questions, but it does have a pretty comfortable classic Surfer vibe.👍

#ImperialGuardians (2026) 1-5 I had high hopes for this book. This roster is great, #Gamora is the leader & Dan Abnett was back writing. Then the whole cosmic line got kneecapped & this was depressingly dead on arrival. There's some good stuff set up here that really needs to pay off someday soon.😑

010

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

#X-Men '97 S02E06 Monster of the week episodes giving the spotlight to underused characters are always great, even if I'm not a fan of #Danger. There will be a lot more #Polaris fans after this. I'm loving the race through all the classic costumes, but I'll be pissed if #Beast turns into a cat. 👍

010

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

#X-Men '97 S02E05 I hope we keep getting a horror episode each season. I'm surprised how much gore we got away with. I love how #Morph is the new #Jubilee / #KittyPryde to #Wolverine. I was hoping for more from a particular storyline, but #TeamX in an '80s style horror setting is too fun to deny. 🤟

#X-Men '97 S02E04 This was another all-timer. My only complaint is the ancient Egypt arc isn't longer. Young #Apocalypse is his best self by far and #Rama-Tut was a nice treat after what happened to #Kang in the #MCU, but it's the stakes and emotional impact that propel this series over the rest. 🤟

#X-Men Origins: #Wolverine (2009) on #Nintendo DS This actually plays well. The parry system feels good & is required for tough bosses. There are only 5 levels but they are pretty long. Unlockable comic costumes for bosses help replace the drab movie looks. The art style has that low-poly charm. 👍

#MarvelLegends #Mephisto with Infernal Throne Damn. This thing feels just short of a HasLab. What was the hold up? Stores just don't want to stock satanic toys? Either way, he was worth the wait. The fabric cape & loincloth for easy sitting was a must. The 360° detail on the throne is incredible. 🤟

#WhatIf...? #SecretWars (2026) 1 This was a compelling take for revisiting Secret Wars. I didn't realize how nostalgic I was for the tail end of the original #UltimateUniverse until I started this. Ultimate #InvisibleWoman deserved better after all that. Great, now I miss two Ultimate Universes. 👍

#X-Men '97 S02E03 Joining young #Apocalypse in his revolution against #Rama-Tut already recaptured some of the thrill of the first season. The brief moments of forced perspective remind me how far we've come from the stiff animation of the classic series. I hope the Egypt arc gets room to breathe.🤟

010

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

#X-Men '97 S02E02 Now it feels like the '90s with a million competing X-Teams. It risks feeling overcrowded, but that's part of the first season's charm. I feel like this would work better opening the season and that stinger was redundant, but spending time with the side characters was a treat. 👍

010

Infinity Watcher @infinitywatcher.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

#X-Men '97 S02E01 I am delighted to see the miraculous pacing is intact. I have never been a fan of X-Men's messy time travel stories, but I trust this team to tighten it up considerably. They have already delivered on the bone claws. Michael Johnston from #Obsession is doing great as kid #Cable. 👍

#UltimateEndgame (2025) 1-5, #UltimateUniverse: Finale 1 It feels messy & rushed, mostly thanks to switching between artists. The realtime continuity payoff is genius. The climax is wishy-washy but the finale epilogue is the true ending the line deserved. Overall, the highs just edge out the lows.👍

#BlackPanther: Intergalactic (2025) 1-4 Having T'Challa just go up against clones of earth villains is a total waste of the cosmic setting that is meant to differentiate this book. At least #Shuri has her magic crow powers back. If this is the direction its probably for the best it was cancelled. 👎

#WhatIf...? The Mighty #Thor (2026) 1 Technically, this was already done in "What If The Alien Costume Possessed #Spider-Man." The only thing really new here is the inclusion of #Knull & I've had just about enough of him lately. That joke about his name was almost worth price of admission though. 😑

#X-Men Origins: #Wolverine (2009) on #Xbox 360 This is incredibly impressive, especially for a rushed tie-in to a bad movie. The combat feels brutal with dismemberment & environmental kills. The battle damage & healing is the spotlight, somehow looking better here than the long awaited #PS5 game. 🤟

#Godzilla: Infinity Roar (2026) 1-5 It's impossible for me to be impartial about Cosmic #Marvel Vs. #Godzilla. This book is a beautifully rendered dream come true. My only complaint is the format ruins the endings, as Godzilla is passed like a baton to the next series. 5 issues is a real catch-22.🤟

#Storm: Earth's Mightiest Mutant (2026) 1-5 #X-Men: Red was a hard act to follow, but Murewa Ayodele kept me interested with cosmic scale escalation & picking up lingering plot threads. Sadly, Tom Brevoort has prematurely killed another fun cosmic series, leaving an epic build-up with no pay-off. 😑

The #Punisher (1991) for #Nintendo Entertainment System Easily one of the best NES #Marvel games. It's a shooter like #Hogan'sAlley with autoscrolling & the occasional clunky #PunchOut style boss fight. Impressive aim & destructible environments, but there's no music outside of the rare Jazzman. 🤟
