you really should give this a read! there's a tremendous collection of art and stories and design in this thing. and it's formatted to be printed and be A Physical Object (... if you have access to A4 paper)

Metin Seven, Moon Child's dad 🌝 @seven.eurosky.social · 23/09/2026

To celebrate all the recent love for #Hoi and #MoonChild, I fired up @aseprite.org to create some new Hoi and MC pixel art, for the first time in ± 30 years. 😃💚 For the scenery, I used my tiles for the Amiga version, combined with the Windows version's mountains and night sky background.

Pixel artwork, depicting a scene from the 1990s Moon Child game, featuring the Hoi and Moon Child characters.

You can just put some text over a fractal render and call it a poster. We live in a crazy world where just about anything can happen at any moment

$abstract composition with gray background and orange stripes with text cut out of and pasted atop. color forms in background. text cut out of stripes read "You can just put some text over a fractal render and call it a poster." text put atop stripes reads "We live in a crazy world where just about anything can happen at any moment" text both cut out of and pasted atop of stripes near middle of image, end of stripes reads "I'd bust a move, like a backspin or something" fractal image of a square and falloff colorforms with flying forms above more tighter orange stripes below with watermark reading "entertextinthe august 4 2026 https://raccoon.pictures/media"$

i haven't done collage since art classes in secondary school, before covid. it was fun being able to revisit this artform on my own terms instead of being required to follow teacher instructions

blender's "repeat zone" nodes - effectively, I made a node setup that duplicates a randomly selected small area a random number of times, then the repeat zone does that loads of time. and in between each step I rotate it 45 degrees. there's more stuff going on but that's what's at the heart of it
