i have this distinct memory of reading some kind of book when i was young. it talked about apples. and "ipples" i look it up and i get No results. this has to be something real out there. I assure you this is not something i have imagined. it had a picture of a regular apple next to it.

will probably work on this more in the future: i ended up implementing the Thue-Morse fractal/sequence, which is responsible for alot of the semi-random texture

a blue glitchy pixellated texture with GPU like artefacting. the pixels are in a parallell vaguely-grid like fashion, and scattered lightly on top of this is a repeating white glitch pattern

fancy birds - the "Scotch Fancy Canary", which are yellow canary birds that look like bananas because they have such fucked up posture. they're bred to be like that and are kind of Slightly Horrifying.
over the screen, is the word PROTECTED, and "moaph.org", taken from a museum website. if i'm not mistaken an image this old should be in the public domain, and thus doesnt need protection

im thinking about that one time i was in college and the GitHub Desktops just started replicating. a Slow Insidious process that took a couple of months

a windows desktop, just full of Github Desktop icon shortcuts, taking up the whole height of the screen, and 4 columns accross
