Yeah, Hoyo is horrible with it. But, the Nikki franchise is predatory in different ways so 😭 Gacha is so rough…

We’re getting this collab with an artist in Shining Nikki, and I’m so excited 😭 The event schedule has been packed, though. I think that can mostly be blamed on global servers being behind CN (as they’re trying to catch up) but God is it miserable.

Welcome to the Nikki series 😭 You will not be able to get every set without spending, if you’re f2p it’s important to be selective and save for when a banner you love comes around. I’m hoping Infinity will be more forgiving than Shining, especially in terms of reruns.

Like you may have to hit 10 pity each time if you’re unlucky, but chances are you’ll get a few pieces a bit earlier. So 80 is the *maximum,* not the minimum.

bee ✨ @infinitybee.bsky.social · 28/01/2025

It’s fairly different as you only get the displayed 4* at 10 pity, and you don’t get repeats. So there is a firm pity of 80, but realistically a little lower. The single 4* banners are also different, as the pity is 5 and it takes 40ish pulls to complete.

I did mess around in Lightroom for this one, but it’s absolutely my favourite… I’m not pulling on the CNY banner, so it was annoying when I got a cloak that I didn’t match anything with the free pulls - but I think I pulled it off? Maybe? 🤷 [ #shiningnikki | #nikkiphotos ]

Didn’t like the pinker lighting with this outfit as much, but it’s still pretty cute! [ #shiningnikki | #nikkiphotos ]

thank u shining nikki. it’s beautiful. i’ll be sure to wear it 🫡

Screenshot from the game Shining Nikki, where a character is wearing a truly horrific outfit, generated an in-game event.

There is a speech box at the bottom where a man is saying: “How about wearing this outfit next time you swing by?”

A few stragglers from the other photo sets :) I’m going to try make the lightings on these look as similar as possible from now on, it scratches my brain right [ #infinitynikki | #nikkiphotos ]

Definitely one of my stranger stylings, but honestly I love how it looks I realise I forgot to check if the fireworks are visible from up here at night time… if they are, that’s another 3 hours of my life scheduled 😭 [ #infinitynikki | #nikkiphotos ]

If you want a lot more references like that, I’d really recommend Shining Nikki! It’s been going for a few years now so they have a *sooo* many gorgeous traditional dresses 💕 (…Though picking up another gacha dress up game might not be a preference 😭 )

I’ve found it does this when I’m low on memory… used to annoy me so bad but ever since I got a memory upgrade (8gb to 32gb 🙈) I’ve never had it happen

I want Infinity Nikki to have expression editing SOOOOO bad!!!! Shining Nikki has it…. Please devs….? 😭 I’m tired of that same face staring blankly at me…. These probably aren’t the best examples from SN but they’re in my camera roll haha [ #shiningnikki | #nikkiphoto ]

Looking through the bubble as a filter makes it look sooooo nice…. (Some minor edits made in a regular mobile photo editor, but tbh if you’re patient enough + have all filters I imagine you can get the same effect in-game) [ #infinitynikki | #nikkiphoto ]
