I will be looking at every film adaptation of The Wizard of Oz book series ever made. I've always loved the 1939 film since I was a kid, and this is a great way to look at nearly 100 years' worth of filmmaking, leading up to the Wicked films!

4. His Majesty, The Scarecrow of Oz (1914) The second of this trilogy, which showcases some neat practical ways of doing the witches' magic. I thought it was a step-up from Patchwork Girl, but nothing really amazing.
