indigo. sorry i was catching up on the re:1999 story

Oh. Well, maybe it's best to not remind her. "Let's talk about something else, what have you been up to?"

"I'm alright, you were just panicked the last time we met."

Nodding. "How are you holding up?"

(knocking on @gambleranchor.bsky.social's door.)

000

A nod. She didn't doubt the other when it comes to not interrupting, soon locating the person, a young adult. How sad. Now, when Viola came to take a soul, she treated each one gently and with respect. Kneeling down and reassuring them through the whole process. They deserve to go at peace. -

Then her job is complete, although, there is no point in leaving just yet. And speaking doesn't seem so bad. "You're going to be alright now." A witch.. Huh? Well, in a way. Yes. She is. "You can say that. I was taught a thing or two for situations like this, can you stand?" Hand held out, in-

(while it's not unusual for people to be curious when it comes to viola, there's no denying that something is unusual, although she has been instructed to keep the specifics a secret all those centuries ago. which.. never stopped her from making jokes about it.) i'm afraid i don't know what you're-

indigo. sorry i haven't gotten to replies yet, i'm just in a bad mood and am very discouraged right now

000

indigo. i am not in a good mood right now i think replies will wait

000

indigo. i didn't get to sleep yet and im out rn so replies later bc my brain is FRIED

000

Seems like the two will stay that way for a while. Although, it's getting dark.

"... You're alright. Okay? Everything is okay."

That can wait, then. Although it's unlikely to be comforting, due to the other's temperature, she pulls the other into a hug.

There's nothing pathetic about it. At all. Slowly taking her hands. "Listen to me. Can you do what I asked you? It'll ground you." As someone who's dealt with difficult souls, a living person is a walk in the park.

Among her duties, other than leading the dead to the afterlife, she was also tasked with those not yet meant to die. Such as this soul. Approaching to the other, kneeling down. "It's not your time yet." Gently grabbing the other's arm, as to not cause too much pain. Viola's free hand approaches

100

"I see. Fascinating." She won't disturb the souls of the dead for no reason, otherwise she'd ask one more about it directly. But curiosity isn't a good enough reason. "Yes." This was an unusual occurrence. But there's no harm in that. "Follow me. That person is nearby."

000

indigo. @embersoundwave.bsky.social oomfie do you want her to die or to be saved

100

indigo. busy for a bit be back later

000

".. I see. Don't worry. I don't live far, and I'm more than capable if something does happen. Take deep breaths. And as soon as you're ready we can get going. For now, deep breaths like I said, then I need you to name three things you can see. Alright?"

Turning back. Getting back to her apartment can wait. "I need you to look at me, and explain to me what happened. Why are you so panicked?"

"Deep breaths." Leaving the restaurant. Letting go for a minute to lock up.

Helping her up. Her hand is freezing. "It's not far from here. Okay?"

indigo. update: i am regretting my life choices

000

A nod. "Yes. In multiple cultures, as a matter of fact. Do you not have something like this in yours?" Fascinating. She's yet to meet someone who didn't have some sort of variation of it in her life.

000

indigo i'm either gonna suffer bc it's hot as fuck today or it'll be one of the best decisions i ever made
