I'm gonna be a bit of a jerk and play devil's advocate. My partner and many other tradespeople I know personally have either had to retrain or struggle with job induced body strain. Might be a tall order for them to also pedal their gear around. E-bikes can help but delivery vans still needed.

Agree with the particulars, but alternatively, the -idea- of the clip resonated with a ton of women because it highlighted systemic social issues that are often glossed over. It just sucks this family has to be the focus --and erroneously so in this case.

I do have sympathy and acknowledge the residents have legit concerns from impacts but what is extremely irritating is both that the developer offered to pay to mitigate the issues but they said no, and also these are the same folks that will complain about homelessness and cost of living.

Hmm. Queensway is really not super built up... It still seems like a massive outlay for limited return when transit is still so lacking within TO itself. The GO buses from square one are actually very functional and reliable comparatively speaking

I couldn't recall whether the busway was going to join up but yes, this is the most logical thing to do, and also still allows for LRT or surface subway in the future as development catches up. Why must we both over build and underbuild in the GTA (sigh)
