Did a chat with a virtual vet and they advised to give her Benadryl and monitor her so at least I did that right. She’s still a little swollen but acting totally normal 🤔 I’m thinking she got stung by something in the garden

Luna’s nose suddenly got a little swollen and there are no emergency vets or weekend vets in this damn town 😭 so for now it’s a Benadryl and monitoring her to see if I need to drive her an hour away 🥺

I swear smokers have no idea how awful cigarettes smell 🥴 My mom clearly smoked in the garage this morning and it hit me like a slap in the face when I walked in. I might just need to start parking my car outside bc I do NOT want it stinking like cigarettes. No offense to smokers, I just can’t deal

Sometimes I really miss living in a bigger city. There’s NOTHING to do out here if you’re not a drinker and most of the year it’s wayyy too hot to do anything in nature. I think the holiday months are making me miss it even more 🥺 we had a lot of fun traditions in our last city

This was a weird week. Monday was my birthday, we spent Wednesday and Thursday in the hospital, yesterday I was still totally out of it and half ass got through work and Doug is usually off on Saturdays but he’s working today and off tomorrow 🥴

My watch says I’ve stood up during 20 of the last 24 hours and I am going to bed. I’m exhausted. I can’t survive on 1 hour of sleep the way I could when I was a teenager 🫩

We’re getting discharged soon….at least that’s what they said. Thankfully it wasn’t a stroke or anything brain related buuuuut he does have hypothyroidism which is causing all of these symptoms. It should be able to be treated with medication and some follow ups with a primary care provider 👏🏻

Doug’s boss told him to take tomorrow off and figure out what’s going on with his health. He’s recently gotten a little slurry and I’m pretty sure he’s developed sleep apnea. He just had health insurance kick in on Oct 1 so it’s time to get it checked. I’m so worried about him 😔😢😥

Awww I missed Taylor on SNL while driving back home. We left at 8:30 this morning and got back at nearly midnight. Drove about 470 miles today for a total of about 8 hours of driving 😮‍💨 I’m surprisingly not as tired as I thought I’d be, I’ll probably be awake for another hour or two 🙃
