Just thought you should know 🩷. It's a common plant found in a lot of food supplements, for stress or sleep for example. Not in tea or usual food, though. That's a relief.

I don't know why it popped into my head, but I just wanted to add something bc doctors don't always tell you. When you take Triptans you're not supposed to take anything with St John's wort in it. This plant can (rarely but it's a risk) induce serotonin toxicity (too much serotonin)

Oh good. Triptans are my meds as well. Another kind of triptans, though. I find them sooooo efficient. They seriously saved my life. I couldn't function without them !

It sounds indeed terrifying. Meds can be tricky though. You can NOT take them at the very beginning, they work. But don't worry if they don't work for you. I had to switch molécule to find the perfect one for me. Can I ask what yours is ?

I don't have auras. Sorry. Yes it involves throbbing. But not always as mine have different triggers. When it comes from my neck I don't have throbbing. It feels like a burn. In my temple If it's dehydration it's throbbing. Behind my eyes. And sometimes it has a mind of its own and it mixes 😂

The beginning is usually the pain. For me it's usually behind my eye or in my temple. My neck also usually hurts at the base of my skull. I can have a hint of sickness but that's very rare.
