Amendment 3 puts small businesses at risk. Amendment 3 also hits renters hard — the people who can least afford another burden. It hurts service workers, many first responders, young adults, seniors, and families already stretched to the limit.

Amendment 3 removes $12 billion from local budgets every year. Small businesses will face higher fees, higher rents, higher insurance, reduced public safety, worse infrastructure, less workforce stability, and fewer support programs. They cannot absorb these shocks. Do the math. Vote NO!

The typical FL renter spends 37.4% of their income on rent, the highest cost‑burden in America. What happens if Amendment 3 passes & $12 billion disappears from county & city budgets every year? Many renters are already struggling. They don’t get a homestead exemption. They get the bill. VOTE NO.

Vote No on Amendment 3! Amendment 3 permanently shifts decision-making away from counties & cities. It is a constitutional amendment, not tax law. The financial projections are real & they don’t improve with wishful thinking. On an ongoing annual basis, Manatee County will lose $212. 3 million.
