It only happened the one time but I didn't really have any ideas at the time that I really wanted to work on. Ever since, if I've had a piece that just isn't "clicking", I'll usually shelf it in favor of something else for a bit. Had one that ended up shelved for a couple years before I finished it.

IndiSkye @indiskye.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Not sure, honestly. Been long enough I don't recall. I also don't tend to worry too much about algorithms, I just make whatever I want to and if it catches eyes, great! If not, at least I enjoyed making it. If there was any increase in visibility, I'd have chalked it up to my skills improving.

IndiSkye @indiskye.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Nah, when I first started it was very much just "when I have an idea I like". At one point had a dry spell for around six months or so, then did a few posts close together. Noticed that Pixiv showed how many consecutive weeks you'd posted, and decided to go on long as I could!

100

IndiSkye @indiskye.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Fortunately not, I'm usually able to set other projects aside and sit down for a quick piece if the week's end is coming up. In fact, the announcement post for the comic site marked 276 consecutive weeks of keeping up that pace!😁

IndiSkye @indiskye.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Honestly, I can't say for sure. I work on a lot of projects so I'd like to keep getting pages out at a regular pace, but the only schedule I really maintain is "at least one art thing every week". If I get some buffer pages done though, I might do weekly just for some consistency.

100

IndiSkye @indiskye.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Sorta planned? Since Pixiv is only about nine pages in, it hasn't happened much yet, usually just getting one done early in the week and wanting to get another done. Sometimes it happens, sometimes not. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Usually, batches *are* planned when they happen for normal weekly posts, tho.

100

IndiSkye @indiskye.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Probably not, unless I'm trying to get an extra page done for a batch post, I usually make my post whenever it's ready.

IndiSkye @indiskye.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

The plan is for both to get the pages at the same time once CF is caught up, yeah. (but since pixiv is still my main playform, it'll probably get the new page a few minutes early, lol)
